SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN for Tbilisi International Student Film Festival!
Greetings on behalf of Tbilisi International Student Film Festival!
Hereby we would like to inform you that this year the festival will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia on October 10-15.
This year, Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University celebrates its 100th anniversary and our Film School celebrates its 50th anniversary so we attach great importance to the celebration of Tbilisi International Student Film Festival.
The festival is faithfully organized and hosted by Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University, in partnership with Georgian National Film Center, Tbilisi City Hall, Georgian Public Broadcaster and other local and international organizations.
The program of the festival consists both of Educational Platform – panel discussions, festival talks and Pitching Forum (Only for Georgian Students) as well as International Film Competition Program, the winners of which will be revealed at the end of the Festival in the following nominations: Jury Prize and Best Fiction, Documentary and Animated Films
Traditionally, the Jury of the Festival will be composed of a new generation of film critics and representatives of various fields of cinema.
To submit your film school program to the Tbilisi International Student Film Festival in 2023, please provide us with the best works of your university / film school produced in 2022 and 2023, which will be presented at our film festival.
Please note, that the length of the program should not exceed 90 minutes; it should have English subtitles and uploaded on VIMEO or a similar platform in HD quality.
Provided links should be accompanied by a password and permission to download.
After the selection is done, we will have an additional communication regarding the screening files.
The deadline for the submission is June 20.
We are looking forward to seeing the films of your university / film school in the 2022 - 2023 competition program of our Festival!
Financial details: Festival will cover accommodation and flight expenses in full of one representative of each Film School. The invited guest will also participate in panel discussions.
We are also inviting students to participate in the Film Festival however we will only cover accommodation expenses.
