The School of Visual Arts (SVA) New York, USA Donates $ 35 000 Value Equipment to CILECT Member from Cameroon
Madeleine Mitlassou, Head of the Centre de Formation Professionnelle de l’Audiovisuel de la Cameroon Radio Television (CFPA/CRTV), announced that her school has recently received (March 2015) an important donation from CILECT Full Member SVA (The School of Visual Arts, New York, USA) that includes 8 x Panasonic AG-HMC150 AVCCAM Camcorder with Batteries and Chargers; 8 x Countryman EMW Wired Lavalier Microphones and 8 x Manfrotto 3130/3001 Tripods.
“We just had a friendly conversation at the Los Angeles CILECT Congress 2014”, SVA Chairman Reeves Lehmann said. “I found out they were seriously underfunded and told them that this year we were upgrading various facilities and equipment. We have in the past donated equipment to other institutions but I wanted to give it to a place where it would be most useful. As it turned out, my president was very supportive to the idea so we made it happen. We are very happy that it is a fellow CILECT member and hope it will inspire more goodwill in our organization”.
