Mission & Strategy

This is one of the most popular undergraduate film course in the UK, with a strong reputation for both its academic and practical teaching. The focus is on collaboration and storytelling within both drama and documentary production and film theory.

Our purpose-built studio facility has two sound stages, a set construction workshop, and extensive post-production facilities. The environment is both academic and practical, scholarly and creative, and all students study film history, criticism and aesthetics alongside their practical work. Students will learn to collaborate creatively in areas such as writing, producing, cinematography, directing, production design, editing and sound.
