Major Achievements: Studied Painting, Photography and Philosophy. PhD in Visual Arts by the University of Algarve (2014), supported by a grant from FCT. Graduated from the Fine Arts College of Lisbon (2002), realizing a Technical Photography course at ETIC (2002). She holds a postgraduate degree in Digital Imaging at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2004) and a Postgraduate degree in Philosophy - Aesthetics from the New University of Lisbon (2010).
Maintains since 2000 a continuous artistic activity, performing solo and group exhibitions in various galleries and institutions and participating in artist residencies. In 2005 she was selected to participate in the 1st edition of the Photography Course of the Gulbenkian Creativity and Artistic Creation Programme, from which originates, in 2006, the photographers collective DOZE, with whom she develops work in the areas of photography and editing, including the project "Paisagem e Povoamento" (Landscape and Settlement). In 2007, she is hosted by INEB (Porto) in the Residency Program: Art, Science and Technology (DGArtes / Ciência Viva). In 2008 she receives the Young Creators grant of Centro Nacional de Cultura.
In 2011, due to a growing interest in drawing and printing techniques, she joins Contraprova - Printmaking Workshop. In 2013 co-organizes the artist residency program, Replica - Reflection on Contemporary Printmaking, with Margarida Palma of Oficina Bartolomeu Santos (OBS) in Tavira. In 2014 she becomes a member of the the board at OBS.
