The aim for the two-day event is to provide the academic community with the latest developments in entertainment analytics. Learn the theory behind how entertainment companies utilize analytics to select, develop and market content. You will then have the opportunity to apply these same principles during our breakout sessions. We will also go beyond the numbers to explore the creative and ethical impacts that analytics may have on the future of visual storytelling.

The conference has been designed to appeal to a wide range of film educators and students in the area of film producing who have a general or specialized interest in the development and/or marketing of movies or related media. We anticipate approximately 50 attendees from the United States and the rest of the world.

Ben Fritz, author of The Big Picture: The Fight for the Future of Movies, will be one of the keynote speakers.
