It is with great pleasure that we announce that EQ-Arts has been accepted on the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
EQ-Arts, along with its sister agency MusiQuE, are the only international discipline-specific QA agencies registered by EQAR to be undertaking quality assurance and enhancement across the full-range of disciplines that constitute the creative and performing arts and design (CPAD) sector.
Within the CPAD sector the specific mission of EQ-Arts is to:
promote a strong quality culture of excellence and continuous enhancement for the sector;
help guarantee the equivalence of minimum threshold standards for any academic qualification offered in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA);
continually enhance the student learning experience to achieve the highest standards;
instil trust and confidence in the processes of quality assurance and enhancement;
help to build institutional capacity for high quality internal review and enhancement.
EQ-Arts will also work to advance the sector’s capacity for high quality third cycle provision and to stimulate CPAD research that drives the knowledge gained from research back into the teaching curriculum, to enhance the student experience and benefit communities outside the academy.
The dark blue coloured countries are recognising EQAR-registered agencies such as EQ-Arts as part of the national external QA requirements.
