The SACRe doctoral program («Sciences, arts, creation, research»), based in Paris, is seeking new applicants. Applications are now opened until May 15, 2017.
Bringing together five leading art schools in France and the humanities-based Ecole normale supérieure, the SACRe practice-based PhD program offers students and artists the possibility to carry out PhD combining artistic practice and research during 3 years, in an interdisciplinary context.
Applicants in the field of cinema should apply through La Fémis. The program is opened to students with a Master’s Degree, who are French-speakers. Currently, about a third of SACRe doctoral students are international students. La Fémis takes on one doctoral student each year, who is awarded a 3-year doctoral scholarship.
Information about the program and the application process are available on La Fémis’s website. For any further enquiries, please write to: concours-sacre@femis.fr
