Chris Edwards, CEO of The Third Floor, will describe the humble beginnings of previsualization and demonstrate how modern previs techniques are being used to design innovative content for feature films, commercials, videogames, and themed attractions all around the world. Chris’ presentation will feature a case study on Alfonso Cuarón’s Academy Award–winning film Gravity. The presentation will also feature a panel discussion with experts from Sheridan College and its Screen Industries Research and Training (SIRT) Centre and the Visual Effects Society (VES) Toronto Section, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. The event is co-presented by Sheridan College and the International Association of Film and Television Schools (Centre International de Liaison des Écoles de Cinéma et de Télévision – CILECT, North America).
