Due to the current tense political situation in Poland, mother and daughter are travelling back. The two plan to turn their backs on their home country for good. They want to convince the grandmother to sell everything and come with them to Switzerland. However, the patriotic old woman refuses. Meanwhile, the youngest increasingly identifies with her roots.
