Farid, an Iraqi immigrant living in Chicago works as an Uber driver at night. He is about to finish his last ride for the night before returning home to his family, when Justin, a desperate war veteran, hijacks his car. They soon discover that they had met before, in 2003, on the opposing sides of the Iraqi invasion by coalition forces. The film is a psychological drama based on the experiences of refugees and war veterans, and their lifelong struggles with their memories, and with survival.
