Lala (7), Kalulah (8) and Muhabat (9) arrived in Belgium from Afghanistan on May 2014. Zamzama explores the in-between space where these children intertwine Pashto culture with French language through play. Constantly looking for the right distance to portray its protagonists, the film draws dotted lines between whispering existence and silent answering.
