Mission & Strategy
Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - one of the world’s oldest filmschools - was among Cilect's founding members in the mid-1950s.
Also known as Scuola Nazionale di Cinema, CSC keeps its headquarters in Rome but has now specialized branches in Piemonte, Lombardia, Abruzzi and Sicily. Its mission is to develop cinematic art and techniques to the highest levels through education, research, experimentation and production. In its cultural breeding ground all the categories of cinema disciplines come together: producers, directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, art directors, actors, editors, musicians, sound designers, experts in digital cinema, filmmakers, teachers and scholars from all over the world.
