Short Description of Goals, Activities and Results:
Lost Shadows: In Defence of the Soul is a 2-CD set and vinyl release on Sub Rosa (Belgium, 2015), the first full release of my recordings of Yanomami shamanism, songs and ritual made in Venezuela, 1978. The release and its accompanying 40-page booklet gives context to the making of the recording and the role of sound in Yanomami cosmology.
