Director of photography on Andrzeja Wajda’s films, ‘The Shadow Line’ and ‘The Promised Land’ and Roman Polański’s films – ‘Frantic’ and ‘Pirates’. Winner of the American Society of Cinematographers Prize. In 2012, received Platinum Lions – Life Achievement Award at the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia.
