Major Achievements: Victor Flores holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from Universidade Nova de Lisboa since 2009. He is a Associate Professor at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias where he lectures ‘Visual Culture’, ‘Social History of Technical Images’, ‘Methods in Image Analysis’ and ‘Cultural Programming’. He is a member of the Research Center in Communication, Art and New Technologies (CICANT) and heads the Masters Program in Cultural Programming and Management. He has published books such as ‘The Technical Images and its Beliefs’ (Vega, 2012), ‘Minimalism and Post-Minimalism: Form, Anti-Form and Body in the Work of Robert Morris’ (Labcom, 2007). He heads the scientific research project ‘Stereo Visual Culture. The Visual Culture of Portuguese Stereoscopic Photography’ funded by the Portuguese National Foundation for Science and Technology in 2012.
