Mission & Strategy
KAFA embraces the students’ needs.
We do our best to revise curriculum and provide support to the students as quickly as we can so they can create and bring the quality movies to the audiences as quickly as they can.
KAFA pays no heed to educational qualifications in selecting students.
We select students who devote themselves to film and express their passion and individuality through cinema.
KAFA’s faculty thinks about the future of film industry.
As experienced teachers and film professionals, they nurture the students’ creativity and research to support them.
At times, the faculty members give stinging criticism, but they never forget to console and guide the students.
KAFA is proud of the powerful alumni network.
For over 30 years, our alumni, who are working on the film set, within the industry and in education, have strived for the advancement of Korean cinema.
KAFA also offers KAFA+, a special training program for film professionals.
KAFA+ provides three training programs: Globalized training to prepare professionals for the global market, Master class to get the insight from the experts and Next D program to explore new formats of film.
By implementing the highest quality curriculum, KAFA will strive to maximize the individual’s potential, retrain professionals and support international collaboration in filmmaking.
KAFA will always support the Korean cinema and be the first to consider the needs of the industry while focusing on providing future-oriented education.
