Mission & Strategy
Dortmund University of Applied Sciences aims to provide young people with academic education through the quality of teaching, personal support, and a globally open orientation. We strive to accompany them in developing their potentials and offer attractive career paths.
With around 15,000 students, the university is among the ten largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. The education provided is application-oriented. Approximately 70 study programs offer bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fields such as computer science, engineering, business, social sciences, architecture, and design.
Established international partnerships enable students to acquire global competencies. Strong third-party funded research and numerous transfer projects provide direct connections to local businesses. In doing so, FH Dortmund also contributes sustainable impulses to the academic landscape and the region.
