TUT Film Programme aims to produce industry ready professionals who are technically and artistically excellent. Our goal is to focus specifically on improving the landscape of African cinema.

Won an Emmy award for his coverage of the assasination of President Anwar Sadat of Egypt.

Cinematographer for the Academy Award nominated film “A Cry for a Reason”

Bernard Joffa, Angus Gibson

Major Achievements:

Nominated for Academy Awards for “Senzeni Na” and “Mandela”, a documentary on the life of former president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela.

Mike Zidel, Grant Waterston

Major Achievements:

Contracted by Steven Spielberg to produce documentaries on surviving holocaust victims living in South Africa.
