Mission & Strategy

Universidad del Cine is presently a meeting point for young people with a vocation for the audiovisual arts, the institutional space for them to realize their dreams. It was created in response to the challenge posed by this new era, as a firm step towards a different and feasible world.

Since its foundation in 1991, the university has maintained three major goals: the generation of an environment that facilitates the conception and development of new projects; the advancement of film education, by placing it within the framework of a comprehensive humanistic curriculum; and the creation of a production center for students to further their academic activities through their insertion in the professional field.
