Mission & Strategy
The course has a practical emphasis that provides professional-level training, underpinned by academic content. It was developed in conjunction with the industry, to ensure graduates have the right skills and creative ability to enter the workplace. Formally part of the Newport Film School, Film has been taught at the University for nearly 50 years. Our expertise in film-making and the reputation of our alumni is acknowledged internationally across the industry.
