Huang, a stubborn protester, was offered special benefits by a petrochemical corporation that needs its expansion project to go smoothly without any barriers. After the villagers found out that not being treated as Huang was, they organized another protest to receive more benefits. Yet, Huang believed in the villagers, thinking they’d succumbed to their conscience to make things right, so he led the people to strike the protest. However, when the villagers’ plan almost succeeded, Huang disappeared.
