LFS Vacancy – Events Producer (Masterclasses)

Hours: Temporary, Part-time (Self-employed)

Rate: £180/day

Our prestigious Film School is seeking a self-employed Events Producer on an interim basis, likely to be required from September – December 2020.

You will coordinate all aspects of the LFS Masterclass event series, which are currently delivered online. From conception to execution, you will be involved in every aspect of successfully delivering these events. This includes developing concepts and ideas, coordinating the technical and production aspects, considering health & safety implications, securing any necessary equipment and liaising with LFS' marketing and academic teams to promote and realise the events.

The Masterclass series at LFS are held termly, offered to LFS students and staff, whereto alumni and guests from the film industry are invited.

The work pattern will be flexible depending on demand (approximately 2 days per week). Currently, this will be coordinated remotely.

If you have excellent communication skills, a background in events and project management, with some knowledge of the filmmaking industry, we would love to hear from you. You will be required to provide your own computer with good access to the internet and the equipment/software necessary to make video calls to LFS staff, alumni, guests and external agencies as necessary.
