Winter Apricots: Prilep International Film Festival 2016 – Call for submissions
"Winter Apricots: Prilep International Film Festival" is a new born, emerging and indipendent festival born by the meeting of a Macedonian architect and an Italian Filmaker wishing to bring in Prilep, a small town in Macedonia, a quality cultural event.
Internationality will be, as a consequence, one of the characterizing aspects of this two days long festival, meanning international movie selection and jury.
Aimed to be a gathering for all the film lovers and professionals in the area the Festival has the goal to become a cultural point of reference associating workshop, concerts,extra-screenings and exhibition to the main event.
The challenge is big but at the same time extremely worth. The city has not such an event right now while the need, the curiosity and the motivation for cultural happenings are strong.

Deadline: 20 November 2016.
Notification date: 30 November 2016. The selected artists must send a screening copy of their film by 5 December 2016 (see: Rules and Awards).
First day of the contest: 16 December 2016 (see: Organization).
Closing Night with Final Screening and Award Ceremony: 17 December 2016.
